- Paper 2 (25%, 30 marks): Students in the IB English course must write a comparison essay comparing and contrasting two jobs they have studied and choose one of four questions.
- As part of the IB English curriculum, students can write on the literature they have studied. The HL Essay (20%, 20 points) requires students to produce an essay. Also, the submitted essay should be between 1,200 and 1,500 words in length.
