Keshav Rathore Chemistry

I am Keshav Rathore, a Chemistry educator with a strong passion for helping students understand science in a clear, logical, and engaging way. Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with

students from different academic backgrounds, helping them build confidence, strengthen concepts, and achieve their educational goals.

I believe that students learn best when they understand the reasoning behind concepts rather than simply memorizing facts and formulas. My teaching focuses on helping learners develop curiosity, analytical thinking, and the confidence to tackle challenging topics independently.

Whether I am teaching Chemistry, Mathematics, or supporting students through international curricula, my goal is always the same: to make learning meaningful, enjoyable, and effective.

A Strong Foundation in Science and Mathematics

My academic background has given me a solid understanding of both scientific principles and mathematical reasoning.

I hold:

  • Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry from the Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Mysuru
  • B.Sc.Ed. with specialization in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics

Studying at one of India’s most respected teacher-training institutions helped me develop not only subject expertise but also a deeper understanding of effective teaching and student learning.

My training across multiple science disciplines allows me to connect concepts across subjects and help students see the bigger picture rather than viewing topics in isolation.

Teaching Across Chemistry and Mathematics

While Chemistry is my primary area of specialization, I also have significant experience teaching Mathematics to international curriculum students.

My teaching areas include:

  • Chemistry
  • IGCSE Chemistry
  • Cambridge Chemistry
  • CBSE Chemistry
  • Organic Chemistry
  • Physical Chemistry
  • Inorganic Chemistry
  • Cambridge Elementary Mathematics
  • Cambridge Additional Mathematics
  • General Science

This combination allows me to support students who need help with both scientific concepts and the mathematical skills often required to succeed in science subjects.

I enjoy helping students develop confidence in both areas while strengthening their problem-solving abilities.

Working with International and National Curricula

Throughout my teaching career, I have had the opportunity to work with students following different educational systems.

My experience includes:

  • IGCSE Curriculum
  • Cambridge International Curriculum
  • Singapore Cambridge Syllabus
  • CBSE Curriculum
  • Inquiry-based international learning programmes

Working across multiple curricula has taught me how to adapt my teaching style to different learning objectives, assessment patterns, and student needs.

I understand that each curriculum has its own expectations, and I help students develop the skills required to succeed within their specific academic framework.

Bringing Chemistry to Life

One of the things I enjoy most about teaching Chemistry is showing students how scientific concepts connect to everyday life.

Many students initially see Chemistry as a difficult subject filled with reactions, equations, and theories. My role is to help them see the logic behind these ideas and understand how Chemistry influences the world around us.

In my classes, I focus on:

  • Conceptual understanding
  • Scientific reasoning
  • Real-world applications
  • Analytical thinking
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Independent learning

By connecting classroom concepts to practical examples, I help students develop a stronger appreciation for the subject and a deeper understanding of how scientific principles work.

Helping Students Master Cambridge Mathematics

Alongside Chemistry, I have also taught Cambridge Elementary Mathematics and Additional Mathematics to international curriculum students.

Mathematics and Chemistry share many common skills, including logical thinking, analysis, and structured problem-solving.

When teaching Mathematics, I focus on:

  • Concept clarity
  • Logical reasoning
  • Problem-solving techniques
  • Examination preparation
  • Mathematical confidence

I encourage students to understand why methods work rather than relying on memorization. This approach helps them become more independent and confident learners.

Using Technology to Enhance Learning

I have a strong interest in educational technology and enjoy exploring innovative ways to improve student learning.

My professional development includes certifications in:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Computer Vision
  • Generative AI
  • Blockchain Technology

These areas have expanded my understanding of how technology can support modern education.

Whenever appropriate, I incorporate digital tools, interactive resources, and technology-supported learning methods into my lessons. These tools help make learning more engaging, visual, and accessible for students.

I believe that technology should enhance understanding rather than replace meaningful teaching, and I use it thoughtfully to improve the learning experience.

My Approach to Teaching and Learning

My teaching philosophy is based on three key principles:

  • Understanding before memorization
  • Active participation
  • Consistent practice

I encourage students to ask questions, discuss ideas, and explore concepts rather than passively receiving information.

One of my strengths as an educator is simplifying complex topics. Whether I am teaching advanced Chemistry concepts or challenging Mathematics problems, I break them down into smaller, manageable steps that students can understand confidently.

This structured approach helps reduce anxiety and allows learners to build knowledge gradually.

Preparing Students for Examination Success

Strong academic results come from a combination of understanding, practice, and effective preparation.

To help students perform their best, I provide support through:

  • Practice exercises
  • Topic-based worksheets
  • Revision sessions
  • Assessment preparation
  • Time-management strategies
  • Exam-focused problem-solving techniques

Regular assessments and feedback allow me to identify learning gaps early and provide targeted support before those gaps become larger challenges.

My goal is not only to help students achieve high scores but also to help them develop confidence in their abilities.

Creating a Positive Learning Environment

I believe students learn most effectively when they feel comfortable, supported, and respected.

In my classes, students are encouraged to:

  • Ask questions freely
  • Learn from mistakes
  • Explore different approaches
  • Participate actively
  • Develop confidence gradually

I work especially well with students who may find Chemistry or Mathematics intimidating. Through patience, encouragement, and structured guidance, I help them overcome challenges and develop a more positive attitude toward learning.

My Mission as an Educator

As an educator, I am committed to helping students become confident, independent learners who understand concepts deeply and apply their knowledge effectively.

Whether I am teaching IGCSE Chemistry, Cambridge Mathematics, CBSE Chemistry, or supporting students through inquiry-based learning, my focus remains on building strong foundations, encouraging curiosity, and developing lifelong learning skills.

I want every student to leave my classes with stronger subject knowledge, improved problem-solving abilities, and the confidence to tackle future academic challenges successfully.

For me, teaching is not just about helping students pass examinations—it is about helping them discover their potential and develop the skills needed for long-term success.
