studying at the HvA. Angel possesses a deep curiosity for how the world works. Alongside his Bachelor’s degree, he has pursued additional studies in Engineering Mechanics, Electronics, and Programming. These studies stem from a personal interest in how these systems work.
This curiosity translates into his tutoring. He believes that attention precedes retention. Even a slight interest needs to be cultivated before learning can take place. Consequently, he works hard to engage his students. Currently, he provides specialized instruction in Mathematics, Physics, and Finance. Angel Barrio Academic Details
Angel is currently pursuing a Bachelor of International Business at Hogeschool van Amsterdam. His degree program spans from 2024 to 2027. In addition to his business studies, he has sought technical knowledge from top universities. He completed Introduction to Engineering Mechanics with Georgia Tech in 2024. Furthermore, he finished Introduction to Electronics with Georgia Tech in 2025.
His technical skills also include advanced computer science training. He completed Harvard’s Introduction to Computer Science in 2025. Additionally, he finished Harvard’s Introduction to Artificial Intelligence with Python in 2025. These credentials allow him to teach concepts with high technical accuracy. He understands the logic behind the numbers. This foundation helps him improve his students’ knowledge and results.
Improving Mathematics Concepts in Group Settings
Angel has a strong background in group instruction. He served as a Reinforcement Math Tutor at the Amsterdam Liberal Arts and Sciences Academy. During the 2024-2025 period, he managed and delivered reinforcement lessons to groups of 8+ students simultaneously. Teaching groups requires clear communication and patience.
He focused on simplifying complex mathematical concepts. He tailored instruction to meet diverse learning paces within the reinforcement group setting. Angel maintained a productive learning environment. He ensured each student received targeted support to improve their academic performance. He developed customized lesson plans. He focused on teaching methods based on individuals. During exam seasons, he focused on rigorous pre-exam prep.
